Ok, I think there's a rule that says you can't be a classically trained 'cellist and a headbanging rocker at the same time.
There has to be.
I think it's because you have to sit down to play. You can't be a proper long-haired headbanger and remain seated. It just looks weird.

I am both a classically trained 'cellist and a headbanging rocker - the latter skill not having been exercised for a number of years.
I used to play the bass and my 'cello (though not at the same time) for a band at school called 'Hairy Bob and the Golden Discombobulators'.
Didn't have the long hair though.

sad to say, Your Eminence, that all this took place in a different, less photographically-aware age, when people out there weren't blogging photos of my every move.
